Only two years after I started this website, I am going to attempt to begin posting some information about what our company is up to each week! 
This week, we are heading up to the mountains to Cutty's Hayden Creek Resort in Coaldale, Colorado for a company camping trip and BBQ with our employees, subcontractors and their families. After the busy summer we have had, they certainly deserve it! I am hoping to get some pictures posted next week! 

A friend of mine thought I was out of my mind for planning a company camping trip. "Three days with all the people you work with? Are you crazy?"  But that's exactly what I like about our company! We are a family. I love that our guys get together after work to go hiking, for dinners or to just hang out. I love that they come over and hang out in our living room chatting about their kids or what they did over the weekend. That connection is what makes it so enjoyable to work for this company! 

We decided on a company camping trip because our family loves to camp and most of our guys are into hiking and the mountains. - How could anyone NOT be, when we are surrounded by all this beautiful mountain landscaping! We checked out a couple of different campgrounds, but in the end settled on our very favorite campground Cutty's Hayden Creek Resort!  It is a little bit of a drive, but it is the absolute best place for kids. They have 2 swimming pools, an arcade, a miniature golf course, tennis and basketball courts, horseshoes and a volleyball pit! Plus, they always plan great family activities that everyone is invited to, such as: Bingo, icecream socials, family sport tournaments, and our favorite, Karaoke! They have a little store in case you forget any camping essentials, or need ice cream (not a camping essential, but I still need it!)  If you are really wanting to relax and not cook or do dishes, you can sign up on the weekends to eat breakfast and dinner too - BONUS!! There is a great little creek and some hiking trails on the property where I love to go for awesome photography and sometimes just to get my feet wet! I am really looking forward to our little company taking over the mountain!

We have had a great summer season this year, so we think this camping trip will be the perfect way to celebrate all of our hard work. Thanks guys for everything you do for us! We really appreciate our team and can't wait to get in some "company downtime"!
